Another busy Knit Night

I was too busy talk to people to notice for sure what everyone was doing project-wise.
Robin worked on her socks, Detta started her Mariposa and helped Jamie weave in ends on her dishcloth. Not sure what Visian was working on. Evelyn was tinking her Mariposa to go back and do her decreases at the beginning of the pebble stitch section. Debra was back to working on her bright blue baby blanket. How's that for alliteration? Betsy is working on the cherry garcia ring scarf, learning cables. We have a new knitter Mary who just started Saturday and after a brief messup is now going great guns on her dishcloth. Annie was there early working on the last sleeve of her white cardigan and Susan stopped by for a few minutes earlier but went home to take care of her sinus infection. We sorely missed Barbara who had to go with her DH to the hospital this morning. Send up lots of good thoughts for Walt. For those who don't know Evelyn has started a shop for her candlemaking.

We got in two magazines yesterday, KnitScene and Knit N Style. From the reaction of those yesterday they both will be popular issues.

We also got in some new yarn yesterday. Softwist, Lustra, and Sundae from Berroco. Not many colors in yet but if you want to order a particular color we have the color cards and can special order.

Knit Night was Great

We were 11 last night at Knit Night. Everybody was working on projects and having a great time.
Evelyn is still working on her Mariposa. It's coming along great. Robin has frogged hers because she wants to change the needle size so she worked on her Tofutsie socks. Suzy finished her baby blanket and her seaman scarf earlier in the day (her first two projects) and started a prayer shawl. Debra is still working on her baby blanket. Jamie is crocheting a baby blanket and started on a knitted dishcloth. Vivian started a scarf. Karate Linda is most of the way through her summer shell made from Ty-Dy. Detta is very close to finishing up both of her Wick socks that she is doing two at a time on two circulars. Barbara is still working on her lace inset camisole top. It is going to look great on her when it is done. Annie is working on the sleeves to her white sweater, just a little more and she will have the whole thing done. I finished my Ty-Dy top and modeled it last night. Time to concentrate on a new project. If you didn't make it last night you were missed.
